Made at Ford Farms and carried two hundred feet underground to the famous Wookey Hole Caves (Somerset, United Kingdom)
Delicious, handmade, artisanal cheddar from pasteurized cow's milk. After pressing, each wheel is lovingly wrapped in protective cloth then carefully brought down into the caves. In this environment with a constant temperature, the cheese is then allowed to age for 6 months. This hard cheese has a wonderfully crumbly, yet creamy texture, with sharp, tangy, nutty flavours, and an earthy undertone.
